Limited Product Warranty
What this Warranty Covers
Products manufactured by EZ-RAD Remote Actuated Damper Solutions, LLC® (hereinafter EZ-RAD) are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a warranty period of 12 (twelve) months after being installed or placed in service, but in no instance shall the period or warranty be longer than 18 (eighteen) months from the date of original shipment by EZ-RAD. The date on your purchase invoice or sales receipt is the date of installation. Products not manufactured by EZ-RAD will be warranted by EZ-RAD only to the extent that their manufacturer warrants them to EZ-RAD.
THE FOREGOING WARRANTIES ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES EXCEPT THAT OF TITLE, WHETHER WRITTEN, ORAL OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW (INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OR MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE). Correction of non-conformities, whether patent or latent, in the manner and within the period of time provided above, shall constitute fulfillment of all liabilities of EZ-RAD whether based on contract, tort, strict liability or any other legal theory with respect to EZ-RAD’s products. EZ-RAD neither assumes on its behalf any other liability in connection with the sale of its products.
What this Warranty Does NOT Cover
This warranty does not cover the following:
- Failure or damage resulting from misuse (including, but not limited to, use of any product capacity or capability, other than that authorized by EZ-RAD in writing) freight, accident, modification, unsuitable physical or operating environment or improper maintenance.
- Operation or performance of any products in any manner other than that which the product is usually tested and applied under industry standards, nor for any damage to a product from abuse, misapplication, unauthorized repairs, abrasion, erosion, corrosion or the like due to abnormal temperatures, or the influence of foreign matter, nor for the design or operation of any system of which any product may be made a part, or for the suitability of any product for any particular application.
- Failure caused by a product for which EZ-RAD is not responsible.
- Any non-EZ-RAD product, including those provided with, or installed on, an EZ-RAD product.
- Accessories, supply items and consumables (e.g. batteries), and structural parts (e.g. covers).
- Service of product alterations.
- Service of product on which you are using capacity or capability, other that that authorized by EZ-RAD in writing.
- EZ-RAD shall not be liable for any cost or expense, including without limitation, labor expenses, in connection with removal or replacement of alleged defective equipment or any part or portion thereof nor for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind, or under any circumstances for any damage beyond the price of the goods sold.
The warranty is voided by removal or alteration of identification labels on the product or its parts.
EZ-RAD does not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation of a product.
Any technical or other support provided for a product under warranty, such as assistance with “How-To” questions and those regarding product set-up and installation, is provided WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
How to Obtain Warranty Service

If you do not register the product with EZ-RAD, you may be required to present proof of purchase as evidence of your entitlement to warranty service.
What EZ-RAD Will Do to Correct Problems
EZ-RAD offers phone and website support, and an instructional packet with each shipped product. EZ-RAD will attempt to diagnose and resolve your problem over the telephone or electronically by access to the EZ-RAD website. When you contact EZ-RAD for service, you must follow the problem determination and resolution procedures that EZ-RAD specifies. Following problem determination, if EZ-RAD determines on-site service is required; a service technician will be scheduled for service at your location.
If the product does not function as warranted during the warranty period and your problem cannot be resolved over the telephone, electronically or through a service technician, EZ-RAD or its subcontractor or a reseller that has been approved by EZ-RAD to provide warranty service, will either, at its discretion 1) repair it to make it function as warranted, or 2) replace it with one that is at least functionally equivalent. If EZ-RAD or its subcontractors or the reseller are unable to do either, you may return the product to your place of purchase and your money will be refunded.
All returns are subject to a restocking charge and must have prior authorization and a Return Materials Authorization (RMA) number from EZ-RAD to be returned. RMA numbers are generated via the website at www.ez-rad.com or with a customer service representative by telephone. RMA shipments must be pre-paid and the specific address for shipping will be provided at the time of authorization. Return shipping will be made by the same method as arrival.
SPECIAL ORDER AND NON-STANDARD ITEMS ARE NOT RETURNABLE. EZ-RAD will inspect all returned items. If found to be defective in material or workmanship, the item will be replaced or credited per customer request. All items must be sent freight pre-paid. Any item found not to be defective or out of warranty will be returned freight-collect.
