Our History

Atlanta, Georgia-based EZ-RAD Solutions® was founded by Steven J. Haydu. After more than three decades in the sheet metal business, mostly associated with HVAC contracting and construction, Haydu saw an opportunity to integrate technology with the somewhat intractable issues of damper control and accessibility, design integrity and installation expense.

Haydu worked with Atlanta-area electronics engineers to develop his concept and engaged the input of industry professionals — architects, engineers, manufacturers and their representatives, sheet metal mechanics and T&B technicians — to create the world’s first battery-operated, remote-actuated, wirelessly controlled damper system with optional airflow measurement.
